SUMO CARD BATTLE – HOW TO PLAY

A Simple Battle with Just One Sumo Card!

SUMO CARD BATTLE is a simple card game for two players.

Each player chooses one Sumo Card and battles by comparing five different stats.

Win a round to attack your opponent!
Each round you win also builds your KIMARITE GAUGE,
allowing you to use your powerful SIGNATURE KIMARITE.

The first player to reduce their opponent’s HP to 0 wins.

HOW TO BATTLE

1. CHOOSE 1 SUMO CARD

Each player chooses 1 Sumo Card.

The HP shown on your card is your starting HP.

The wrestler with the higher SPD (SPEED) chooses the stat first in Round 1.

If both wrestlers have the same SPD, play
Rock-Paper-Scissors to decide who chooses first.

From Round 2 onward, players take turns choosing the stat first.

2. CHOOSE & COMPARE A STAT

The player choosing first selects one of these five stats:

• POW – POWER
• SPD – SPEED
• TEC – TECHNIQUE
• BAL – BALANCE
• SPI – SPIRIT

Compare the selected stat on both cards.

The wrestler with the higher number wins the round.

If both wrestlers have the same number, play
Rock-Paper-Scissors to decide the round winner.

You can’t choose the same stat two rounds in a row.

3. THE WINNER ATTACKS

The round winner attacks with the BASIC MOVE shown on their card.

Subtract the BASIC MOVE damage from your opponent’s HP.

Each round you win also gives you:

KIMARITE GAUGE +1

When your KIMARITE GAUGE reaches 2, win another round to use your
SIGNATURE KIMARITE.

4. USE YOUR SIGNATURE KIMARITE

If you win a round while your KIMARITE GAUGE is at 2,
you can use your SIGNATURE KIMARITE instead of BASIC MOVE.

Subtract the SIGNATURE KIMARITE damage from your opponent’s HP.

After using it, reset your KIMARITE GAUGE to 0.

5. REDUCE YOUR OPPONENT’S HP TO 0!

Keep winning rounds and attacking to reduce your opponent’s HP.

The first player to reduce their opponent’s HP to 0 wins!
